A highly atmospheric, cinematic shot of smoke curling up from a roaster in a dimly lit room. "Golden Hour" light streaming through a window.

It Started with a Blank Page and a Green Bean.

In Minneapolis, Minnesota, we know that great stories require focus. Whether it’s the quiet of an early morning or the spark of a late-night idea, we roast coffee to be the companion to your creativity. Deep, complex, and rich with character—this is where your next chapter begins.

Plot Points & Tasting Notes

Writing a story and roasting coffee are the same process. Both require drafting, editing, and finding the right voice.

Just as a story needs character development and a climax, a coffee blend needs flavor development and a peak roast profile. We edit our roasts in small batches until the narrative is perfect.

Every cup tells a story. Every roast is a chapter in our ongoing pursuit of the perfect blend.

The Process

Act I: Sourcing

The raw material. We curate our green beans through trusted import partners, looking for origins that offer complexity and depth. We treat sourcing like choosing a genre—setting the stage for what the final cup will be.

Act II: Roasting

The drafting phase. In our Minneapolis roastery, we apply heat with precision. We treat roasting as an editing process—refining the raw bean until the flavor profile is clear, distinct, and ready to be published.

Act III: Brewing

The reading. A bag of beans is just a story waiting to be told. When you brew your cup, you unlock the work of the farmers and the roaster, turning a daily routine into a quiet moment of discovery.

Small Batch. Deep Narrative.

Mass-produced coffee loses the plot. We roast in limited runs in Minneapolis to ensure that when you open a bag, the aroma tells a story of care and craft. Freshly roasted, ethically sourced, and ready for your next chapter.

A Dedication.

Dedicated to the belief that no great story—and certainly no great morning—ever started with a salad.
